Alec Soth's Broken Manual is pretty brilliant, I think. I've been perusing through many new collections of photographs as of late, and this is one of the stand-outs. I think I'm really enjoying them because I don't like it if I sense a "I'm trying really hard to be arty" vibe. His photos seem like he is really just looking at the world in a different way.
